Legacy of Kain HD in Development?

It's just a rumor for now, but there's talk going around that classic non-sparkly vampire game Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver is getting HD reboot. As someone who played the heck out of said game during the heyday of the PS1, I say it's about time.

For those who weren't born yet when Raziel first burst through the scene, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver was one of the best games on the PS1 that isn't a JRPG. It had amazing, vibrant 3D graphics that is way ahead of the cruddy, primitive polygons that its fellow PS1 games had, and its smart engine eliminated load times from the game, at the time when lengthy load times were considered the norm.
