A new trailer has been released for the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas Special: The Snowmen, featuring a glimpse of the action-packed story as the doctor, who has already retired after losing Amy and Rory, finds himself in the middle of another sinister plot involving monsters - this time made out of snow - and a mad doctor.
The special marks the first official appearance of the new companion, Clara, whose actress (Jenna Louise Coleman) already appeared in the first episode of season 7 as a different character (or is she?).
The trailer also features a scene of Clara kissing the doctor. You know, for once I want a female companion who doesn't want to bang the doctor. So far, we've only got Donna Noble and the 8th doctor's Rose Tyler on the new Who. Also, we need more stories about adventures that the TARDIS crew encounters accidentally, instead of focusing too much on the doctor and his relationship with the companions.
