Street Fighter X Mega Man

If you thought all the cross-brand games (Marvel, SNK, Street Fighter, Tekken, X-Men, etc) Capcom has been doing is weird, check out their latest one: it's the world warriors from the Street Fighter being pitted against the blue bomber, Mega Man.

Street Fighter x Mega Man, unlike Capcom's previous cross-brand games, is not a 1 on 1 fighter. Rather, it's your standard fare action platformer typical of a Mega Man game, only instead of fighting rogue robots and Dr. Wily, Mega Man has to fight the characters from Street Fighter as stage bosses. Additionally, the graphics are rendered in 8-bit, pixelated format reminiscent of the Nintendo days:

What's even more special is that this is not a mere fan game. It is, originally, but Capcom liked it so much that they're going to release it officially as part of the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Grand Finals event
