Ridley Scott’s Prometheus film continues to assail the web with various teasers in order to drum up interest for its upcoming release. One of the most recent is an intriguing new image that came from the viral website Weyland Industries. The image can be accessed by following the instructions at the website, which will unlock a special URL. The shot is familiar if you’ve already seen the original teaser trailer, but now you can see it in all its HD glory.
The room really isn’t that recognizable, if it is a room. We can see some sort of giant chair, and it’s quite interesting to see the scale of the human-like figure in the middle. As is the case with most viral teasers, the image leaves more questions than answers, but I guess we don’t have to wait for very long as the Prometheus movie is scheduled to open on June 1, 2012.
